Technical Sales Specialist 

We are looking to hire a Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) residing in Shanghai /Guangzhou/Shenzhen region of China, to assist with the pre-sales activity related to the OEM/Reseller Channel. The TSS works closely with the assigned Sales Development Managers to achieve the assigned revenue plan for the China territory.

Education Qualification: Bachelors’ / Masters’ Degree

Experience: 5-10 Years of experience

Role and responsibilities:

• Learn all current and future products and technologies to offer accurate and professional support. Understand products from other manufacturers that could be seen to enhance or compete with our own products
• Communicate and work closely with the Sales team on technical requirements, provide training and education, support at events and be an extension to the sales force
• Provide tech notes on new developments, application problems etc. and provide regular newsletters and/or technical updates to enhance the knowledge of our partners
• Support assigned OEM/Reseller Channel territory activities: seminars, trade shows, exhibits
• Provide technical and sales training on new products and update training on existing products. This should be in conjunction with the Sales Force, Technical Services and Marketing
• Strong presentation skills with ability to deliver compelling hands-on product demonstrations to a variety of audiences
• Perform technical troubleshooting to insure successful close of business by the OEM/Reseller channel
• Provide extensive training for our OEM/Reseller Channel partners on the printing environment, FIERY features, uses, and benefits
• Establish and maintain close and professional contact with OEM/Reseller Channel partners in your territory
• Provide timely and accurate reporting of activity and issues to FIERY management.
• Log and assist with the resolution of product issues through FIERY phone support and engineering
• Ability to work proactively in both independent and team situations

Job Requirements:

• Strong understanding inkjet printing market, comprehensive knowledge about inkjet printing.
• Expertise in POD, packaging and label printing, and other inkjet industrial printing
• Willingness to travel extensively across China and occasionally to other JAPAC countries
• Networking / Technical degree with 5+ years of related experience, strong understanding of Networking/Network Security
• Detailed knowledge of Operating Systems: Windows 10 LTSB/LTSC; Mac OS 10- 12.4; and associated Networking Environments (TCP/IP, LPR, etc.)
• Knowledge of Desktop Publishing, Graphics, and Office Application software (Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, etc.), Adobe Acrobat platform and PDF Workflow
• Understanding Production Workflow Solutions such as Fiery & Offset workflow
• Understanding of Web To Print Solutions and ERP such as FIERY Digital Storefront, or RSA Web CRD
• Detailed knowledge of Color Theory and ICC technology and its applications in Digital Color Printing
• Superior presentation skills. Ability to build and customize PowerPoint presentations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate at all levels and experiences in training activities
• Knowledge of color management methods and software, including FIERY Color Profiler Suite
• Understanding of customer workflows: Prepress, short-run color, and Variable Data Printing
• Understanding of Fiery utilities: Command Workstation, ColorWise ProTools; SpotOn, and Calibrator a Plus
• Familiarity with alternative print processes: laser, digital press, offset, inkjet, web and alternative media
• Ability to independently and proficiently demonstrate all of the above in a pre-sales situation
• Preferred skills in C and C++, with familiarity in scripting languages such as JavaScript and Python
• Language proficiency: Native Chinese, Fluent in English (mandatory)
