Technical Sales Specialist

We are seeking a talented, highly driven Sales & Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) residing in the UK, to manage sales activities related to our OEM/Reseller Channels. The TSS will work closely with the assigned Sales Development Managers to achieve and deliver the assigned revenue plan for the territory. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a multi-channel business model, working seamlessly across dealers and partners while engaging directly with end customers. The successful candidate will have responsibility across the Fiery product lines, including Fiery DFE’s and workflow for commercial, specialty products, and large format markets. A strong technical understanding of Fiery technology and the sales ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations to close business are essential.

 

Role and responsibilities:

 

  • Learn all current and future products and technologies to offer accurate and professional sales support.
  • Knowledge of products from other manufacturers which compete with our own solutions to position them correctly.
  • Build and establish strong relationships with OEM/Reseller Channel partners in your territory
  • Communicate and work closely within the OEM and Reseller sales teams on technical requirements, provide regular training, education and event support for the sales force to close business
  • Strong presentation skills with ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations to a variety of audiences.
  • Engage and build relationships with the end customers to ensure they understand the full value of their Fiery solutions investment
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of sales activity and commercial issues to FIERY management.
  • Log and assist with the resolution of product issues through FIERY phone support and engineering
  • Ability to work proactively in both independent and team situations

 

Education Qualification: Bachelors’ / Masters’ Degree

 

Experience: 5-7 Years of experience

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • English speaker
  • Extensive knowledge of the printing process and RIP solutions available in the market
  • Expertise in cut sheet applications, including finishing solutions.
  • Knowledge of desktop publishing, graphics, and office application software (Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat platform and PDF workflow
  • Knowledge in colour management methods and experienced in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Adobe Creative Suite applications
  • Strong understanding of networking/network security.
  • Knowledge of operating systems: Windows, Apple Mac OS and associated networking environments.
  • Ability to work independently in a sales and technical support roles, demonstrating expertise in software and printing solutions
  • A working knowledge of Direct-to-Garment (DTG), Direct-to-Film (DTF), textile, packaging, and other industrial printing applications & markets
  • Understanding of alternative printing processes, including laser, digital press, offset, inkjet, and web-based media
  • Ability to understand and assist with customer workflows, including prepress, short-run colour, variable data printing, and production solutions
  • Willingness to travel in the UK & Ireland
  • Should have strong verbal and written communication, stakeholder management, accountability, strategic orientation, take initiative with strong decision-making capabilities.
