Role and responsibilities

 

As a Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) for our Fiery Business, based in the Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose, San Francisco, Seattle you will lead pre‑sales technical engagement within the OEM Partner and Reseller Channel. In this role, you will collaborate closely with assigned Sales Development Managers (SDMs) to support revenue achievement across a broad territory.

Skills: (Technical & Behavioural skills)

  • Learn all current and future Fiery products and technologies to offer accurate and professional pre-sales support. Understand products from other print manufacturers that could be seen to enhance or compete with our own products. On the Job training provided
  • Communicate and work closely with the Fiery Sales team, dealers and partners on technical customer requirements.
  • Partner with Fiery Sales Development Manager to drive selling activities.
  • Leverage Fiery resources and capabilities to assist in closing business.
  • Execute sales, marketing and support strategies/models to achieve sales target.
  • Provide training, education, and support at customer/partner/dealer events and be an extension to the sales force.
  • Provide tech notes on new developments, application problems, etc. and provide regular communications and/or technical updates to enhance the knowledge of our partners.
  • Support assigned Partner/Reseller channel territory activities – seminars, trade shows, exhibits, demos and training.
  • Effectively present and demonstrate all Fiery products to a variety of audiences, highlighting Fiery features, uses and customer value.
  • Perform technical troubleshooting to ensure the successful close of business by the Partner/Reseller channel.
  • Establish and maintain close and professional contact with Partner/Reseller Channel partners in your territory.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of activity and issues.
  • Log and assist with the resolution of product issues through EFI phone support and engineering.
  • Networking/technical degree with 2+ years of related experience. Strong understanding of networking/network security.
  • Detailed knowledge of operating systems: Windows 10 LTSB/LTSC; Mac OS 10- 12.4; and associated networking environments (TCP/IP, LPR, etc.).
  • Knowledge of desktop publishing, graphics, and office application software (Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, etc), Adobe Acrobat platform and PDF workflow.
  • Knowledge of color management and ICC technology and its applications in digital color printing a plus.
  • Superior presentation skills. Ability to build and customize PowerPoint presentations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate at all levels and experiences in training activities.
  • Ability to independently and proficiently demonstrate all of the above in a pre-sales situation.

     

    The salary range for this position is $110,000 - 125,000 USD Fiery considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
