Role and responsibilities:

As a Principal QA Engineer : This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end Software Quality Assurance (SQA) function, including testing strategy, automation, resource planning, quality reporting, and process improvement. The position involves developing QA policies and standard operating procedures, managing QA teams, budgets, and resources, and ensuring software products meet functional, performance, usability, and traceability requirements. Key responsibilities include reviewing product requirements and design documentation, defining test strategies and test plans, executing and reporting on software testing, collaborating with engineering and OEM partners to improve product quality, recommending design enhancements, monitoring post-release performance, and applying analytical methods to design, evaluate, and optimize reliable software systems.

Job Requirements:

Education Qualification: B. E, B. Tech, MCA (Information Technology and related fields)

Experience: 8-11 years of related work experience in Software Quality Assurance

Skills:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in printing/testing
• Automation knowledge with any scripting language
• AI knowledge or exposure (preferred)
• Experience working with embedded/server software products.
• Strong leadership, communication and management skills.
• Self-starter, highly organized; Works well with all functional levels in the organization; Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; high level of business management and facilitation skill; capability to resolve complex problems with minimum confusion, frustration, and inconveniences for all parties concerned.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory.

Desirable but not mandatory:

• Someone who has worked with Xerox, Canon, Konica, Ricoh or printing industry.
• Experience in developing corporate level reports and dashboards.
• Proficiency with the following automation requirements: Python, Perl or similar
• In depth knowledge of OS Systems (MAC and Windows)
• Possess strong cross-functional communication skills, interpersonal skills and team skills.
